I love my entire family, but my mom and niece hold special places in my heart.  This is a screenshot of us skyping when my sister and her husband were visiting my family at our house, and I was away at school. (Can you believe that woman is old enough to be a grandmother?)

I picked my school. Why? Because I am so thankful for the opportunity I have to received an amazing education. Education has always been very important to me. I've had so many great things happen here in just one year, and cannot wait to see what else comes my way!

I am obsessed with quotes and writing them down anywhere I can. I have a book that I dedicate to quotes and I also love putting quotes on different colored sticky notes near my desk. I like "pick me up" quotes and ones that remind me to remember about the little things in life. I found the picture on tumblr, which is where I find most of my quotes that are now in a huge folder in my iPhoto. I've even dedicated a weekly "quote of the day" post on my blog.

 I love a lot of people, especially my family and friends, but I figured that's too generic so I'm going to go with my dog... Even though he is family! His name is Mac and he's about 7 years old and he is the most well behaved, kind dog in the entire world. He really is a best friend. And this picture happened to be taken at my lake house this summer, which is another thing that I love!
