Her hair smelled like coconut...

Today I planned on going on the hunt for Lilly Pulitzer sales. I checked my town's Marshalls, TJ Maxx, a local Lilly boutique, and the outlet stores. No luck! All I was able to find was a pink corduroy skirt (unflattering) and a pair of cute shorts that were both unfortunately size 6. All I have to say about this is that the individuals that wear size 6 and up have it made! searching for a size 2 anything is nearly impossible! Even in TJ Maxx they had NOTHING in size 2!

So lovely readers, if you are trying to find a new home for your lilly skirt or dress (size 2) send me an email! I will from now on be stalking re-lilly and shopaholics' preppy closet for great deals...rival shoppers beware!

So what did I do after failing miserably at my Lilly shopping??? My second love: beauty products! I have somewhat of a problem when it comes to make-up and hair products and today proved that. Fortunately I was good and didn't buy out the entire store, but I did wind up with a few things!

This is my FAVORITE cleanser! It pumps out as a foam and is extremely gentle on my very sensitive and dry skin. It also helps even out your skin tone and fights blemishes with salicylic acid!

Once I got home from the store, my mom suggested that a try another product that apparently is really great for removing make up before you wash your face. I'll post more about that later if I like it!

Do you remember in my make-up routine post where I mentioned that I love discovering new products? Well this mascara was suggested by my mother and I really like it! It thickens my lashes really well without making them look clumpy and gross. Love...possibly more than Great Lash Mascara!

Love this eyeshadow palette! It's the Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow in Copper Spice. I really like using the darkest shade as a makeshift eyeliner

Before I go back to school Monday morning, I really wanted to buy an anti-breakage serum for my hair. Because I use the straightner constantly on my wavy hair I really need help protecting the ends. I decided to try out this product and the product below.

The neat thing about the Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum is that it's Sulfate free! Additionally it offers 4 fl. oz. at a cheaper price than what I used to use, John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum which only comes in a less than 2 fl. oz. bottle for $8 or $9.

I also purchased the Organix Coconut Milk Weightless Mousse!

When  I got home I couldn't wait to try the products so I took a quick shower and used both the serum and the mousse. They worked so well! My hair is split end central and after using these two products my thin and brittle hair looks much stronger and appears as though I just came back from getting my hair trimmed! The ends look great!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Even though I wasn't able to get any new lilly things for spring/summer I was excited about finding some other fun items!

I might have to try those coconut products. I love anything "summer" smelling for my hair :)

Those coconut products look good! And probably smell amazing.

Btw, I can never find Lilly stuff either. My only score at those stores was a VV dress.
